FROM TRADITION TO INNOVATION

1918 foundation as a manufacturer of machine tools, broaches and grinders, air compressors and motor vehicle repairers.

1932 conversion of production to the construction of open compressors for refrigeration systems.

1957 starts production of alternative semi-hermetic compressors for air conditioning and refrigeration, which today constitute the company's "core business".

1970-1990 business consolidation and development of an industrial production of refrigeration and air conditioning machines, always keeping an eye on the maximum perfomance and efficiency, especially in the application with carbon dioxide.

1991-2005 technological innovation and development of products at the highest level for use with CO2 in the transcritical cycle that have made Dorin the leader in the market of sustainable refrigeration.
