Unione Imprese Centenarie Italiane - established in order to catalyze the most qualified and outstanding brands with more than a hundred years of history, witnesses of entrepreneurial longevity and national heritage - establishes and promotes, starting from the year 2018, the recognition called the “Key of the Unione'.
The “Key of the Unione' is bestowed upon Italian personalities from the Italian cultural, scientific, and economic scene, whose work opened and followed innovative paths contributing to the country’s progress, in step with the association’s ethical and social objectives.
 

Selection process of the Key’s recipients:

The recipient of the “Key of the Unione" is designated jointly by the Jury and the Honours Committee, whose members are selected by the association’s Scientific-Cultural Observatory through a scrupulous screening process.

The prize is meant to be awarded after evaluating the consolidated results achieved or the innovative paths undertaken by the recipient.

  

Prize’s bestowal:

"The Key of the Unione" is handed over during the traditional Winter Meeting promoted and organized by the Unione Imprese Centenarie Italiane in December. The delivery ceremony, which requires the attendance of the recipient, includes a public presentation of the
reasons and a speech given by the awardee on the main aspects of his or her activity.
